Growing up on “hungry hill”(Chicago Heights, Ill.) in the 1930s was not easy for any mother. My mother worked on three jobs to feed the family, take care of the children and help others in the neighborhood.
She stressed education, and as a result, all three sons have a doctorate and have been leaders in education. Most of all, she taught us that service to others is our most important obligation.
Thank you, Rosina, you were the greatest mother!!!!
