I am a single mother of two, and as a nurse, I see firsthand how critical quality health care coverage is for everyone. Even though my kids and I have coverage through my job, the $1000 deductible and $25 co-pays add up quickly. There just isn’t extra money, so I have to avoid going to the doctor as much as possible. That means my family isn’t getting important preventative care and avoids seeing our primary care provider. I want to see a Minnesota where no one has to cut corners at the expense of their health.
